A fantastic Gulf Racing inspired oil drum chair, finished in the iconic Gulf light blue and orange racing colours.
Constructed from a full-size steel oil drum, the chair has been converted into a distinctive piece of motorsport furniture. The Gulf-inspired design is painted onto the drum rather than simply being applied with vinyl stickers, giving the chair a much more authentic and substantial appearance.
The front features the classic orange Gulf racing stripe and logo, while the sides are finished with number 20 racing roundels, giving the chair a great vintage endurance racing look reminiscent of the legendary Gulf-liveried racing cars of the 1960s and 1970s.
A comfortable black padded seat and matching padded backrest contrast nicely against the Gulf colours, while protective black rubber edging has been fitted around the cut steel sections.
The seat can be removed to reveal a large storage compartment inside the drum, making the chair practical as well as decorative – ideal for storing detailing products, car accessories, magazines or other garage essentials.
The chair is also fitted with casters underneath, allowing it to be easily moved around the garage, workshop or room.
