ATOM-MAC
Water-borne migratory and contact corrosion inhibitor.
-
Atom-Mac is a migratory and contact corrosion inhibitor that is diluted in deionised or distilled water before use. It provides protection against corrosion in both open spaces and hollow voids. The powerful migratory phase corrosion inhibitors are liberated from the product and are carried in vapour phase to form an invisible atomic shield against corrosion of ferrous metal.
DEOX-C
Crystalline non-toxic rust remover that produces a powerful corrosion removal bath.
-
Rust Removal Bath
Deox-C is a crystalline, 100% active corrosion removal product formulated for the removal of corrosion products from steel, stainless steel and most ferrous materials. This product when dissolved in tap water, produces a bath of powerful rust removing liquid.
Deox-C is extremely economical, for example, just one kilogram of Deox-C makes up to 20 litres of powerful rust removing bath. It will remove very heavy corrosion, but is safe to use on even the most delicate items. It is suitable for any object that can be completely immersed.
Deox-C is harmless, non-toxic and biodegradable.
A Comparison
Abrasive cleaning methods such as grinding, sanding or blast-cleaning will remove sound steel surrounding corroded areas. The risk of grit inclusion resultant from blast-cleaning has been proven to cause early coating failure, corrosion and mechanical wear.
Slag-based blast cleaning media all contain heavy metals, which when used in open-nozzle blast-cleaning equipment liberate dust that may contain harmful levels of these elements.
Use of Deox-C will eliminate the risk of distortion to thin steel sections which can result from the blast-cleaning process.
Unlike abrasive methods, being a liquid, Deox-C penetrates into any crevices and flaws to remove corrosion completely.
DEOX-GEL
Non-toxic rust removal gel for parts that are not able to be soaked in Deox-C bath.
-
Rust Removal Gel for Corrosion Protection and Removal
Deox-Gel is a viscous, highly thixotropic, rust remover, designed for corrosion removal on surfaces or objects too large to submerge in a bath of Deox-C. Along with the viscosity builders and preservatives, the active agents in Deox-Gel are harmless, non-toxic and biodegradable.

DYNAX-S50
Extreme duty anti-corrosion wax for cavities, voids and long term protection.
-
Dynax-S50 is a high-performance anti-corrosion wax that provides exceptionally long-lasting protection to steel surfaces. It creeps into welded seams and seals surface defects. Dynax-S50 forms a soft, brown, wax-like film that self-heals in the event of disruption. It is also able to arrest existing corrosion and to provide long-term protection to pre-corroded and corrosion-free surfaces.
Dynax-S50 has been proven to substantially outperform competitive material in salt-spray trials under conditions of ASTM B117.
Dynax-S50’s soft-film is optimised for enclosed cavities where extremely corrosive conditions develop. Dynax-S50 is also recommended for protection of valuable machinery and components in transit, machine tools, moulds etc. Dynax-S50 can be removed using suitable solvent. Dynax-S50 is not formulated for prolonged exposure to ultra-violet (UV) light.
The advanced metal seeking anti-corrosion molecules which form Dynax-S50 are able to displace water, so even damp surfaces can be protected, these same molecules arrest and prevent corrosion even on already rusty surfaces and provide remarkable self-healing abilities if the film is damaged. Whilst Dynax-S50 is primarily a cavity rustproofing compound it’s also able to prevent corrosion in a multitude of mud traps and water collecting voids. Dynax-S50 has been used with superb results to protect voids and cavities in steel boats, vessels, offshore installations and other steel structures subject to severely corrosive atmospheres.
A Comparison
Dynax-S50 is designed to protect steel surfaces in extreme conditions. It’s well known that vehicle cavities are subject to a wide-range of corrosive environments, from salt spray to high humidity, heat, fresh water and freezing. The cavity wax chosen must cope with all these variables and continue to provide the necessary protection – maintaining the structural integrity, safety, and value of the vehicle. It’s common for manufacturers of cavity waxes to quote salt-spray results in hours for their cavity waxes and while the salt-spray test is severe it’s been shown that waxes with very good salt-spray performance can rapidly deteriorate when the environment changes, for example after a period of constant salt-spray they swell become bloated and detach from the surface in an atmosphere of high humidity alone. Dynax-S50 has been proven to provide outstanding salt-spray protection and continuing protection in changing conditions with no swelling or detachment whatsoever. You’ll see below how Dynax-S50 compared with two extremely well known cavity waxes in constant salt spray trials.
DYNAX-SEAM
Fast drying, brushable, flexible anti-corrosion seam sealer.
-
Dynax-Seam Fast Drying Sealer
Dynax-Seam is easily applied with a brush to protect welded joints, seams and overlapped panel work.
It provides high levels of protection against abrasion, stone chip damage and corrosion.
The non-stringing formulation holds brush marks well so that OEM finishes can be replicated.
With solids content in excess of 50% this product will outperform competing materials.
DYNAX-UB
Dynax-UB is a high-performance anti-corrosion wax designed for car underbodies.
-
Dynax-UB is a high-performance anti-corrosion wax that provides exceptionally long-lasting protection to steel surfaces.
Dynax-UB contains elastic polymers that create a tougher wax coating that is more resistant to abrasion than normal wax coatings – this property enables this wax to protect vehicle undersides for prolonged periods.
Unlike traditional bitumen underseals Dynax-UB will not peel. Peeling underbody coatings trap water against the steel surface, accelerating corrosion.
Dynax-UB forms a touch-dry, brown, wax-like film.
Dynax-UB is able to arrest existing corrosion and to provide long-term protection to pre-corroded and corrosion-free surfaces.
Dynax-UB substantially outperforms competitive material in salt-spray trials under conditions of ASTM B117. Salt-spray performance should never be overlooked as vehicle undersides and cavities are always exposed to this attack from winter road salt.
DYNAX-UC
See-through long term anti-corrosion wax for bare metals or painted surfaces.
-
Dynax-UC is a new high-performance anti-corrosion wax that provides a low film thickness, almost transparent protective shield. It’s firm, wax-like film is rich in unique metal-seeking corrosion inhibitors that halt existing and prevent new corrosion.
Dynax-UC can be applied to bare metal or painted surfaces, anywhere where a discrete and powerful inhibitor is needed.
Dynax-UC is completely safe to use on the vast majority of paint coatings and is ideal where dark coloured waxes or underseal would detract from the painted finish of vehicle bodywork or underside.
The touch dry tough wax film provides mechanical protection to the protected surface too. Dynax-UC is the ideal product to provide high levels of protection during the winter months. Use on lower body panels, chassis, floors, sills, jacking points, chrome, suspension, fixings, wheel arch lips, alloy wheels. Dynax-UC is perfect for protecting motorcycles, alloys, aluminum, boats, mowers, machinery, tools and equipment too!
Dynax-UC can be easily removed if required with simple solvent wipes or alkaline degreasers after the aggressive winter months pass, or left in place for prolonged protection.
The 750ml aerosols are equipped with a unique valve. Cans are charged to 70 psi and work on their side and even upside down.
Long term protection in seconds.
ELECTROX
Zinc-rich anti-corrosion coating for steel.
-
Unique zinc-rich coating
Electrox protects steel from corrosion with both barrier and electrical functionality. Coating steel with Electrox produces a surface film containing over 90% metallic zinc. Once cured, the tightly packed zinc particles establish an electronically conductive pathway, enabling cathodic protection of the underlying steel; exactly the same principle utilised in hot zinc galvanising.
For years, galvanised steel has proven to provide outstanding longevity even in the most hostile and aggressive environments. It’s unfortunate that the process involves hot dipping steel into a bath of liquid zinc.
For many items and projects this is, of course, simply not possible. For those wanting to provide the very best protection to steel, Bilt-Hamber’s Electrox allows the advantages of a zinc coating to be obtained as simply as if a normal metal primer were being used. It can be applied by brush or by spray, and as it is a single pack product there is no need for mixing activators. The cured zinc film can be left uncoated or top coated with a wide range of finishing paints to further increase protection
Recommended Uses
Electrox is recommended for use on offshore structures, harbour installations, jetty and pier pilings and extreme duty vehicle chassis work.
Electrox is of particular benefit in vehicle restoration where underbody protection is of vital importance. The highest levels of corrosion protection can easily be imparted to chassis rails, floor pans, sill sections, suspension components etc., in fact any area or part can be protected with this outstanding primer.
A Comparison
Most paint coatings rely on barrier protection of steel surfaces to prevent corrosion, and while most have corrosion inhibitor pigments to improve longevity, the long-term protection is often disappointing. Protection of these barrier type coatings is quickly diminished at impact and damage sites too.
A cured film of Electrox is a true zinc-rich coating containing in excess of 90% pure zinc. Proven through thousands of hours of salt-spray testing, zinc-rich coatings are accepted as irreplaceable in the most hostile corrosive conditions. Furthermore, the protection imparted by cathodic action means that steel surfaces are kept free of corrosion even in the event of film disruption.
EPOXY-MASTIC

Our epoxy mastic is further combined with pure zinc phosphate to provide unparalleled rust and corrosion proofing.
FERROSOL
Water displacing multi-purpose lubricant which is 3.5 times more effective than the well-known market leader
-
Ferrosol is a high-quality lubricant designed to penetrate close tolerances, free rusted together parts, displace water, restore electrical circuits and provide corrosion protection. Ferrosol contains unique molecules which, when subject to friction, bond electrochemically to metal surfaces, providing an effective barrier to wear. Independent laboratory tests confirm Ferrosol’s ability to massively outperform competing products.
So significant is Ferrosol’s anti-wear ability that the product is ideal for use in drilling, tapping and reaming to prolong tool life.
Ferrosol proves invaluable in applications where its extreme pressure capabilities and low surface tension allow it to penetrate and lubricate otherwise difficult to reach moving parts. As an example, injection mould ejector pins will show a great resistance to wear and binding when lubricated with Ferrosol, thus reducing expensive downtime.
Ferrosol provides excellent protection against wear and corrosion to hundreds of moving parts in automobiles and other vehicles.
Heavy industrial uses such a winches, chains and load bearing pivots and unions can be lubricated easily with Ferrosol; these high stress applications are historically deemed inappropriate for other penetrative lubricants. Ferrosol will continue to lubricate even when the visible oil film has gone.
GAS-MAC
Fuel tank preservative.
-
A fuel additive for both petrol and diesel engines to protect the internal surfaces of fuel tanks both above and below the fuel level from corrosion. Burns harmlessly in all internal combustion engines. Based on powerful migrating corrosion inhibitors. Helps to stabilise fuel in long term storage.
Provides long term protection of ferrous metals, where its vapour-phase inhibitors protect from corrosion even where contact is not made with the product. Ideal for intricate or hollow parts.
HYDRATE-80
Hydrate-80 is a rust converter which provides unparalleled protection to rusted steel surfaces.
-
Hydrate-80 Rust Converter
Traditional paints and coatings applied to corrosion give disappointingly short-lived performance because they simply hide the underlying and continuing corrosion – the failure is first seen by blistering of the coating and the rapid breakthrough of rust.
Hydrate-80 provides powerful protection to rusted steel surfaces, its electrochemical function stabilises existing corrosion by converting the iron oxides into a protective metal complex and it also combines with surface moisture and oxygen depriving the corrosion process of the conditions it requires. Paints and coatings applied to a Hydrate-80 treated surface demonstrate amazing improvements in long-term performance.
Hydrate-80 provides a superior stable barrier to prevent further attack. The cross-linking polymer formulated to provide the tough non-rubbery barrier tenaciously grips the metal surface forming an ideal base for further coatings, paints or anticorrosion wax.
Importantly for long-term protection Hydrate-80 doesn’t contain chlorine which is known to transform into corrosive hydrochloric acid in rust converter applications causing under-film blistering and destruction of paint finishes or other coating products.
Long-Term Performance
The long-term performance of Hydrate-80 has been proven to significantly increase coating life in independent tests conducted by the German TÜV organisation under conditions of VDA 621-415 (6 cycles, or 1008 hrs) which included exposure to hot salt-spray, 100% relative humidity and drying atmospheres with each cycle lasting 168 hours.
Hydrate-80 was awarded Practical Classics magazine “Best Buy” and “Product Recommended” after a long-term trial comparing it to 12 other products – in fact Hydrate-80 was applied to more heavily corroded steel than the competition and still outperformed them. Hydrate-80 has been used to arrest and prevent corrosion in diverse applications – from massive marine installations to classic and historic vehicle restoration Hydrate-80 provides dependable long-term protection.
